Welcome to Shannon's Army
In Loving Memory of Shannon John Mark Lawler
29th August 2000
18th June 2006
How we came about:
Shannon was born with a skin condition called Congenital Melanocytic Nevus/Naevus.
As the name says it can turn to Melanoma.
In our case it did and within 4 months of being diagnosed as
" terminally ill"
Shannon was gone.
Shannon's passion was the defence force mainly the Army. He had his own little uniform and he wore it proudly. You only ever saw Shannon in 2 ways.
1. Army Uniform
2. Naked
LOL
I think people preferred the 1st option.LOL
So we became Shannon's Army marching on in his honour making gifts for kids living with cancer
Death leaves a heartache no-one can heal
Love leaves a memory no-one can steal

When Dad began his battle with cancer we decided that we would also give quilts to adults hence the adjustment to our motto....
quilts and gifts for kids with cancer and now even adults too.....
